The chromium content added in the Inconel 825 Foil is responsible for the alloy being particularly resistant to oxidizing substances such as nitrates , nitric acid, as well as to oxidizing salt.Further, the Incoloy 825 Din 2.4858 Shim Sheet is virtually immune to stress related corrosion cracking, along with being resistant to localized attack such as pitting and crevice corrosion.
